This place wanted to charge me $1000 for just a back set of brakes and routers and they suggested to flush the brake fluid and the cost of repair plus their warranty. Luckily i was able to find a family friend that would help me with this. After he took the brake pads off he said the routers were completely fine and no brake flush is needed. What a sad state that we live in, it's hard to trust anyone even the "professionals" I'm giving two stars because customer service was good enough but expect HIGH prices at this place and not so trust-worthy work.
Hi Joseph, I left you a voicemail yesterday in hopes of discussing this personally because we take our customer feedback VERY seriously. Thank you for visiting The Livonia Garage for an oil change and using our free brake inspection coupon! Unfortunately, our prices are not going to be able to compete with a family friend working from home since we are a professional shop. Our goal is to ALWAYS inform you of what’s best for your vehicle based on safety and an attempt to increase the longevity of your vehicle. Replacing rotors and brake fluid are necessary services to ensure a quality repair over time. Without replacing the rotors, it is likely you will experience noise and shaking in the near future. A brake fluid service is a preventative measure that is proven in our industry to guard against internal failures in the master cylinder, ABS, and calipers. For example: Sometimes spending $110 now can save thousands of $$ down the road. We are always here to provide our customers with honest and excellent service and to explain why we recommend certain repairs. We wish you the very best!!
